Our Team: Bekah Paradise
In her role as Associate, Bekah provides a range of accounting services to JDJ clients, including bill paying and expense reporting, investment and bank account reconciliations, and budget-to-actual reporting. She delivers outstanding service to clients, advisors, and team members. Bekah is organized, thorough, and detail-oriented, and she takes a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Prior to her current role, Bekah was an administrative bookkeeper at JDJ, providing accounts payable and administrative support to several client teams. Her responsibilities included downloading bank and credit card activity, preparing statements for reconciliation, and tracking charitable contributions. Previously, Bekah was an administrative assistant at JDJ, providing a high level of service to JDJ clients, professional advisors, and colleagues. Bekah kept the JDJ office running smoothly, managing a high volume of JDJ correspondence, creating billing reports, assisting with event planning, and training new employees.
Bekah has more than nine years of experience in the financial and insurance industries. She was previously an executive assistant and associate financial representative at Northwestern Mutual. In prior roles, her additional responsibilities have included: insurance illustrations and underwriting, accounts receivable, generating and managing contracts, technical support, and training and mentoring new hires.
Bekah graduated cum laude from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Classics, and a double minor in History and Art History.
