Red Sox Rally for the Jimmy Fund

A sure sign of spring has arrived – baseball season! Today is Opening Day at Fenway Park, and in true JDJ fashion, we did not miss an opportunity for food and fun, combined with supporting a worthy cause. Once again this year we took part in the Rally for the Jimmy Fund to help further cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and provide hope to adults and children being treated for cancer. This annual event asks businesses to support the hometown team and conquer cancer by donating to the Jimmy Fund while proudly wearing Red Sox gear on Fenway Park’s Opening Day. This year, the JDJ team rallied together with 100% participation!

JDJers enjoy this event as it gives us a chance to support a cause close to our hearts while cheering on our favorite team. Hot dogs, peanuts, soft pretzels, and, of course, Cracker Jacks, welcomed baseball season to the office as we gathered to enjoy baseball-centric refreshments, win raffle prizes, and discuss this season’s best players.

No matter the outcome of today’s game or the season, we are proud of the JDJ team for their spirit, enthusiasm, and generosity. Go Sox!
