Our Team: Abigail Smith
As JDJ’s office administrator, Abi manages the daily operations of the office, providing a high level of service to JDJ clients, professional advisors, and colleagues. Abi has a broad range of responsibilities that include managing a significant volume of incoming and outgoing daily correspondence, event planning, as well as on-boarding and training new employees. Abi’s friendly and professional demeanor, willingness to pitch in to help on any assignment, and ability to remain calm under pressure are just some of the reasons she is a valued member of our team.
Prior to joining JDJ, Abi was a key team member at a busy family-owned café, providing excellent "customer first" service in order to improve customer loyalty and increase sales. She worked closely with the business owners to manage inventory, reconcile cash, and prepare the store each day. She trained new associates on customer service skills as well as the systems, equipment, and procedures of the café.
Abi also interned at Best Bees Company where she planned, organized, and implemented educational events and trade shows to promote the business and educate consumers about the favorable environmental impact of beekeeping.
Abi graduated from Simmons College with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Public Health.
