JDJ Rallies for the Red Sox and Against Cancer
Happy Fenway Park Opening Day! The JDJ team’s favorite way to commemorate the arrival of spring is to celebrate the start of baseball season. One of the many traditions that comes along with Fenway’s Opening Day is participating in the Jimmy Fund’s Rally Against Cancer. Money raised from the event benefits Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s research and patient care for children and adults. This year the JDJ Team rallied together and raised more than $1,600!
JDJ celebrated this accomplishment last week on MLB Opening Day by watching the Red Sox and Yankees square off in one of the first opening day games of the season. Team members enjoyed a plethora of hot dogs, peanuts, ice cream, and Cracker Jack, and shared stories about their favorite baseball teams. There were even raffles for Red Sox tickets and other prizes. One lucky JDJer will be headed to the game at Fenway Park’s Opening Day today!
We’re ready for a great baseball season. Go Sox!
