In his role as Manager, Brett provides a variety of financial services to JDJ clients, including investment administration, detailed net worth reporting and analysis of expenses, investment account reconciliation, budgeting and cash flow planning, and tax planning coordination. Brett applies a high level of service, keen analytical skills and outstanding attention to detail to his interaction with JDJ clients and advisors.
Before joining JDJ, Brett was a Client Advisor at a multi-family office, where he worked closely with clients to ensure an understanding of their financial situation. His responsibilities included the preparation and analysis of balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports. In addition, Brett calculated tax liability projections and prepared tax returns for individuals, trusts and foundations.
Brett’s previous experience also includes his role as a Client Account Manager at Brown Brothers Harriman. In this position Brett analyzed portfolio holdings to identify potential capital gains tax liabilities, researched tax laws in local markets to determine treatment of specific security types, and performed daily reconciliation of fund holdings.
Brett is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy and has earned a Master’s of Science in Taxation from Northeastern University.
