In his role as Financial Systems Administrator, Tyler supports JDJ’s operations by providing technology support to team members. Tyler is responsible for all hardware and software for the firm, as well as the training of team members on these programs. Tyler displays an ongoing commitment to improving processes and making the most of JDJ’s technology infrastructure.He frequently offers tips to help JDJ team members utilize technology more efficiently.
Tyler was honored by his teammates with JDJ's Capturing and Recognizing Excellence (CARE) award for his role helping JDJ quickly and seamlessly transition to a remote environment when the pandemic began. In addition to his technology expertise, Tyler was lauded for his patience, teaching abilities, and approachability.
Previously, Tyler held the position of Corporate and Client Associate, where he was responsible for JDJ’s corporate accounting and financial reporting and assisted with client onboarding. Tyler was an Associate at JDJ for four years, providing a variety of accounting services to JDJ clients, including bill paying and expense reporting, payroll administration, cost basis tracking, tax payment processing, and financial reporting.
Tyler was a Customer Care Manager & Accounting Specialist for a medical device company. In this position, he prepared and analyzed financial summaries, coordinated departmental budgets, and developed customized reporting.
Previously, Tyler was staff accountant at a promotional products distributor, handling variable, weekly payroll for over 1,000 affiliates and managing many specialized accounting functions. He also coordinated accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and helped launch an employee incentive program.
Tyler graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Oswego with Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Administration. He passed the first level of the Chartered Financial Analyst® exam in his pursuit of the CFA designation. Tyler is a member of JDJ’s Technology Committee.
