We are pleased to announce the promotion of Elana Vasi-Smith, CAPI, CPRIA to Senior Director of our award-winning Lifestyle Management division. Elana will continue to take a leadership role in developing Lifestyle Management services to address the increased demand from our clients for these services.

Elana and her team deliver a broad range of Lifestyle Management services to clients, including insurance oversight (medical and property and casualty), property management, construction project administration, hiring, payroll and oversight of domestic staff, collectibles management and a wide range of special projects.

As our in-house insurance expert, Elana assesses clients’ complex risk management and insurance needs. Elana is recognized leader in the field and a sought-after speaker and panelist. She leads regular training sessions to educate staff about insurance for high-net-worth clients. Elana is a true leader in the firm, leading by example and encouraging employee development and growth. She encourages and models transparent communication with the team.

Elana joined JDJ in 2006 in an entry level role. She advanced to become the firm’s first Senior Manager in 2017, was promoted to Vice President in 2020, and is now Senior Director of our award-winning Lifestyle Management division, a progression that speaks to her many strengths and contributions to the growth of the firm.

Elana is one of a select number of individuals who do not work in the insurance industry to be invited to Chubb’s elite Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) program at the Wharton School of Business. She went on to achieve the prestigious Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) designation from the Private Risk Management Association.

Elana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities with a minor in Music from Providence College. She is a member of Worthy Circles, Boston Estate Planning Council, and Private Risk Management Association. In addition, Elana leads our Sustainability Committee.
