Congratulations to Abi Smith, the winner of JDJ’s 2019 year-end CARE award. The Capturing and Recognizing Excellence (CARE) award is a peer-nominated award given to an individual who delivers exceptional service, reinforcing JDJ’s mission statement: We love helping people we care about, learning new things, and building meaningful relationships. There were several deserving nominees, which is a testament to the accomplishments of our talented team, as well as how much they respect one another.

Abi was nominated by three different groups of colleagues, demonstrating the impact of her contributions on all areas of our firm. Abi has been a valued member of the JDJ team since joining us in November 2017. Abi’s role includes administrative support of our partners, event planning, marketing assistance, and office management responsibilities.

Abi’s colleagues lauded her positive attitude and calm, welcoming disposition, noting, “Abi constantly goes above and beyond and always puts JDJ first. She is approachable, always reliable, and juggles so many hats.” A nominator stated, “We all have multiple clients to juggle, but Abi has all of us to juggle and never shows anything but a ‘can do’ attitude.” Another colleague commented, “Abi has her hands in everything JDJ and is humble when you try to thank her. Her positive and pleasant nature is always on display.”
