JDJ Partner Kylie Ruschioni participated in the 2021 PURE Insurance Championship last week. This PGA TOUR Champions event included a field of 81 PGA TOUR Champions players, 81 First Tee junior players, and 162 amateurs. This year’s two benefiting charities were Monterey Peninsula Foundation and First Tee. Kylie was part of a foursome led by golf pros Mark O’Meara and Jerry Kelly at the world-renowned Pebble Beach golf course. She and her partner played extremely well and missed qualifying for the cut by just one stroke.

Kylie also played in PURE Insurance’s golf charity event, The Match, and her team took home the win! The Match was played in a Ryder Cup format, with two teams captained by Peter Jacobsen and Jeff Sluman. Proceeds from this event benefit The First Tee College Scholarship Program, which enables at least five additional First Tee participants to receive four-year college scholarships and mentorship opportunities.

“Being invited to the PURE Insurance Championship was such an honor,” said Kylie after the event. “It was a fantastic week of golf, and it was a pleasure to play with all the amazing First Tee junior players. Their golfing and sportsmanship speak to caliber of this program and these young players. Golfing at Pebble Beach was truly a dream come true.”

The PURE Insurance Championship took place from September 21 – 26. Participants played on the Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Golf Course in Pebble Beach, California.
