JDJ team members recently participated in the Youth Villages Backpack Heroes back-to-school drive. JDJers donated funds as well as 15 backpacks fully stocked with school supplies. Not only did our team provide much needed supplies, but they sponsored individual students, ensuring each child received the specific supplies they need for a successful school year. To help kick off the school year right, JDJ team members selected backpacks based on the child’s preference for color, theme, or character. This is JDJ’s 9^th year participating in the backpack drive and it’s one of our favorite annual events because it’s an opportunity to give back and help children succeed.

Youth Villages is a non-profit organization that aids children and young adults who face a wide range of emotional, mental and behavioral problems. They strive to find solutions using proven treatment models that strengthen the child’s family and support systems and dramatically improve their long-term success.

We are so appreciative of our team’s continued generosity and wish all of our sponsored students a safe and fun school year filled with learning.
